Whistler Multicultural Network is a group of local immigrants and newcomers that meets, networks, and plays together. It was created by local immigrants to provide others in the same situation with the connections, support, and knowledge to help them adapt to life in Canada and Whistler and opportunities to get more involved locally.
Whether you’re new in town, or a long-term local, meet, support and learn from other immigrants and newcomers.
Join our online network or contact Yami to get connected.

The Multicultural Festival is back - for its eleventh year.. on June 6, from 4 to 8pm at the Whistler Public Library.
We help locals share their culture through dance, songs, music, costumes, sports, exhibitions, food, activities, art and crafts. We also provide a place where our children learn to appreciate our cultures, heritage, and to be proud of their roots. We invite all locals to participate - there are many ways to get involved...
Share a performance.... Lead an activity... Offer cultural food... Book a spot in the multicultural marketplace... Volunteer!
Or just join us and have some free multicultural fun, food and family time...

August
This year's Multicultural Summer Camp for children aged 7 to 12 runs from August 11 to 15. Each day we introduce children to different cultures represented in our communities in a fun, safe, and enquiring environment. Every Camp Day is led by a Cultural Ambassador; local immigrants who customize each day's activities with their own cultural heritage that can include their language, food, games, crafts, music, song, and dance.
To find out more and register your child, check out kidscamps.wmsociety.ca . Or why not host a camp day yourself? Contact us if you're interested.
Volunteering is a great way to get connected to the people and places where you live and can really help you get established in your new country and community. Volunteering can provide an opportunity to help others, it can help you build new skills and knowledge, and it can also help you find a job in Canada.
